okay, you can block all quicknotes, block pubblic ones, but what i was thinking of, is maybe if someone has just come on here to play anagram or high low, and they have all QN's turned off, maybe there could be a setting.

only show new logins, where a quicknote is displayed everytime someone logs in to the site.

i know people can look at the list, but when you're playing anagrams or something, i think it would be easier just to have a log in setting.

anyway, there are people on here who have friends on the site, but have pubblics turned off.

i think this would be a cool feature

I don't. seems like a waste of perfectly good coding

I think it would be a neat feature to have as well (agreeing with the first poster). Maybe not super important, but still useful. We could have this feature available with private QNing on, just like you would be notified when having public QNs on. To me, there wouldn't be much point in having it available if one won't have any QNing on at all though.

I like the idea. I often miss friends on the site when I have my publics turned off, so having that feature would be pretty cool.

i like this myself, knowing when someone logs in is the only reason i don't disable qns most of the time
